About Us

My name is Phillip Rego. I was born in the beautiful island paradise of Bermuda.  After visiting Haiti in October 2008, I knew God wanted me to help in some small way.  I never dreamed that God’s plan was bigger than anything I could have ever imagined.

Feed My Lambs Ministry was established  to help bring relief to children in Haiti and places beyond that have suffered abject poverty, hardship and extreme deprivation throughout their entire life.  We organize food distribution programs, collect and distribute clothing, shoes, personal item, school supplies and more to help alleviate some of their needs.

It has become abundantly clear that education is the key to help people rise above the status quo.  Unfortunately poverty is so great that parents struggle to meet the most basic needs of their families.  We find people looking for ways to earn enough money just so they can eat at least one small meal a day and in some cases one meal every other day.  And although the cost of school is only $200 a year, (this includes two uniforms, two shirts, one pair of shoes, socks, backpack, and entrance fee)  it is a huge amount in a place where the average salary is less than $480 a year.

We are also dedicated to bring awareness to our own children here in Bermuda about the situation that affect those less fortunate then themselves.   We invite Bermudian youth to accompany us on our mission trip to encounter a life changing experience that can only be brought about by mingling, eating and associating with those that suffer such great adversity.  To know that their contribution can make an enormous difference in one single life.  And to give them the tools that will empower them to change lives one child at a time.
